Parents Dating

In upcoming posts, I will be providing you with different ideas of romantic and fun things to do on a date.  Today, I want to provide you with some quiet romantic date ideas that will allow you and your date to spend some alone time and get to know one another on a more personal level. 

1. Park Date - Pack a picnic and a bottle of wine and head to a nice park with a blanket that you can put on the grass and sit on.  If you share the same taste in music, you may want to bring your MP3 player along, and share and listen to music with one another.
2. Sailing Date - Once again, pack a lunch and snacks.  Depending on what you and your dating partner like, you can just relax in the sun and talk.  Perhaps, you can even enjoy some swimming or scuba diving.
3. Go out for Dinner or Drinks – at a nice restaurant.  It doesn’t have to be expensive, just make sure it’s a relaxing atmosphere with lights turned down low.  I remember going out on a date one time, and we made the mistake of going to a restaurant with lots of kids and bright lights.  It certainly was not romantic.
4. Movie Night – Now, I don’t know if you’re a male or female who is reading this, but most men don’t like chick flicks, but if the woman you’re dating likes it, it may work in your favor.  Watching a movie can be a pretty passive activity, so make sure to grab a blanket and do some cuddling.
5. Go for a Hike – This can be fun as it gives you adequate time to have a conversation while having some fun cuddling and touching along the trip.  Make sure to bring food and blanket along so you can have a rest and some fun time relaxing while on your trip.
6. Stargaze – Lay outdoors on a blanket or on the roof and look at the stars and talk.  See who can find more “falling stars”  in the night sky.
7. Go for a Carriage Ride - Do some sightseeing while cuddling in the small space.
